Sydnee Mack, Esq. is an Atlanta-based attorney who focuses her practice on Small Business, Sports & Entertainment and Trademark Law. Sydnee is a passionate and knowledgeable attorney who is committed to helping small business owners, dreamers, athletes, entertainers, side-hustlers, creatives and entrepreneurs build strong brands and companies.
During her career as a sports and small business attorney, Sydnee has served as outside general counsel for the Golf USA Tee Time Coalition, legal counsel for the Women in Golf Foundation and trademark counsel for the BYOB (Build Your Own Brand) Society. She also served as a legal intern for major sports organizations including: the PGA Tour, The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and the Atlanta Hawks.
She has helped these and countless other organizations to: (1) draft, review and negotiate sound contracts; (2) create and implement sound organizational policies; and (3) review and revise existing business practices to ensure compliance with all state, federal and industry regulations. Sydnee also has extensive experience in the area of trademark registration and maintenance. She has worked with companies to manage and protect trademark portfolios that included over 500 marks.
In addition to her work as a law firm owner and operator, Sydnee is an author and law professor. She is author of 10 Steps to StartUP, a fun, easy-to-read, legal and business strategy resource for entrepreneurs interested in taking their business goals to the next level. 10 Steps to StartUP was the #1 new release on Amazon.com for franchising law books for the first two weeks of its release.
Sydnee also currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at the Georgia State University College of Law where she teaches the business and legal aspects of Sport through her Sports Law class.
Sydnee is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. In her free time, she enjoys taking professional dance classes, studying health/fitness and kicking butt and taking names on the golf course.
Education and Certification
Sydnee is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. She is licensed to practice in all courts of the State of Georgia including: all Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the District Court in the Northern District of Georgia.
Sydnee received her law degree from the Emory University School of Law where she focused her studies on transactional law and was a graduate of the Emory Law Transactional Certificate Program. As a graduate of the certificate program, Sydnee gained a very specific skill set in the areas of contract drafting/negotiating, business transactions and deal making.
Prior to attending law school, Sydnee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations. She is a former Division I collegiate athlete in Women’s Golf and played at Hampton University for four years on a full athletic scholarship.
